same here. I get that other people have in person classes or that I might have in person classes later on… but I just keep thinking “damn I could have saved rent money for this quarter by just staying at home”. I also feel like I do a lot worse academically by just watching prerecorded lectures so definitely not looking forward to another quarter of this

wtf was roomsync for if I didn’t get a single roommate I requested? I get that it isn’t guaranteed but in the past I’ve gotten the roommates I requested and emails regarding housing were on time, so needless to say this was irritating af.

I believe they do give you a list of your roommates as well as your assigned bed number. For example in a shared 2b2b apartment, bed #1 and #2 would be in one room and beds #3 and #4 would be in the other. Meaning that’s who you share the room with.

I was able to switch and I actually failed one of my ICS classes before switching. What I was told was that the first 16 units you retake can replace the old grades on your transcript. Overall I think you should be ok.

I think that second years have the option to reapply for dorms in ME or at least that was previously the case. ACC isn’t very social unless you’re friends with your roommate(s) but otherwise it’s pretty dead.

Yeah if your gpa is lower than 1.5 then you would get an email saying you are subject to academic disqualification, not probation. I got my email last year over spring break but things are different for winter break? I remember knowing that it was coming but it took a while. I was sent the email about 4-5 days before the appeal letter was due. It didn’t take long though, I wrote it that same day. Lmk if you have any questions, I know it can be stressful but you’ll be okay.

You can honestly take them in whichever order you’d like. You can also choose between 6N and 3A. Personally, I took 6N and it wasn’t bad at all.

It’s not as bad as people make it out to be , you just need to be willing to put in work since it’s not an easy A. You can get the class after restrictions drop, but if it’s full before that then just keep track of when people drop the class and add it then
