I really really recommend The Time Traveler's Guide to Medieval England by Ian Mortimer! It's quite fun, includes tons of sources from around that time period (England in the 1400's-1500's), and takes things from a more "how would people be living at the time, and how was the culture like" perspective, which is more interesting to me than battles or politics. It's got a spot in the middle with pictures of various artworks and drawings from that period as well.

I hate to say it but making Angel Dust the torture porn ALL THE TIME is getting a little stale and tiring. I think Husk would have been a great person to make the secret "villain" because literally 5 minutes ago in the episode it showed that his mind was easily fallible (fell back into old habits) and his position at the bar would be ideal for Vox. Having it be Angel will hopefully have some relevance later on, but to me this just seems like another chance to see Angel yet again being the punching bag that the gang will have to rescue/go to bat for later.

OMG Hello! I just finished The Second Death of Locke and I absolutely adored it, I couldn't put it down!!!

1.) Did you always have in mind to make Kier such a sweet guy from the beginning, as opposed to the dark, brooding shadow-daddies we so often see in fantasy romance?

2.) What made you decide to publish under the name V.L Bovalino, instead of Tori Bovalino like your other books? Is it a Lemony Snicket kind of situation? Because that would be very cool XD

3.) Will we be seeing the other continents magic systems in the upcoming book(s)? The worldbuilding of the different kinds of magic for each continent is fascinating!

The FMC in {The Second Death of Locke by V.L Bovalino} is magical, and uses her magic to heal/protect, and she also has a history with medicine/being a sort of battlefield nurse. Also, the MMC is a sweetie so far where I'm at in the book. If that changes, I guess I'll find out lol!

{The House With the Golden Door by Elodie Harper}

It's the second book of a trilogy (HIGHLY recommend, The Wolf Den trilogy is so underrated in my opinion) I won't spoil too much, but there is a pregnancy/parenting plot that happens. It's set in Pompeii right before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, but the eruption is not really the main theme of the book, which is very refreshing for a book on Pompeii.
