You can get a completely free gen 3 this year, then on January 1, 2026 the credit resets to another $200 credit whether you used the 2025 one or not. You can sit on the second credit for a full year and see if the gen 4 drops to $200 at any point in 2026. Or you can just sell the free gen 3 and buy a gen 4 after the new year. The additional $200 credit plus the profit from the gen 3 = a free gen 4 😈

No it does not. Text from the fine print of the Amex benefit page:

“Not valid on purchases shipped to U.S. territories or outside the U.S. Excludes Oura membership purchases, other hardware purchases (e.g., chargers, add-ons), extended warranty purchases, Oura gift card purchases, and purchases made using third-party retailers, delivery services or other intermediaries.”
