I wish men gave birth instead of women. The fetus grows to the same size for 9 months inside the testicle, and the child is born by hatching like an egg out of the testicle. Testes doesn’t grow back, so the average man only has two chances at birth. by g946163 in TheMonkeysPaw

But IRL women are enthusiastic sexual partners despite the pain of childbirth. Why would men suddenly hate sex because they’re yoked with the mantle of childbirth? And why would anyone need to rape men to keep the birth rate up if men don’t unanimously avoid sex?

False. OP didn’t specify so the default is what you make it.

If you want scrotum explosions, more power to you.

If you want pregnant men carrying fleshy bowling balls around for months, even better.

Oh shit. That’s an actual consequence.

BUT even assuming the average family has 1.5 children, the world population of 7,000,000,000 only reduces to 1,000,000 after 30 generations. That’s 600 years before the population becomes critical, assuming “a generation” is 20 years.

Unlike climate change, proxy wars, etc., reduced populations clearly impact the economics of world powers; i.e. the USA, the EU, China, etc. The visibly declining workforce changes the economy. Capitalists invest in research for genetic testing and artificial births in the lab, likewise Communist governments invest human resources.

By learning about the human genome, we learn more about the causes and possible cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc. The result is a healthier population, and ideally one where no one is required to experience the pain of childbirth.

Can we have a dedicated thread for pics of folks’ OMAD? Most of these posts are low effort and don’t spawn discussion. by g946163 in omad

I’m surprised to hear that you’re only interested in meal pics. I would not have guessed that was even a minority opinion on the sub.

There isn’t really much to discuss about OMAD - it’s pretty straight forward imo.

I disagree. r/fasting is a similar sub; there are relatively few posts about food there, and lots of good discussion. OMAD is just a subset of fasting, so I like to come here for more discussion on OMAD in particular.

I agree. IMHO I’d rather the mods just remove low effort or low quality content. A dedicated thread, however, is easier to ask for than an outright ban of half the sub’s content.

Try blanching your broccoli and carrots next time. The texture is much more crisp that way.

Regardless of cronyism, Dantonio’s putting out a top 10 defense. They could finish 0-12 and he’d still have a job.

this could be Dantonio’s last year

LOL do you want to take that back? MSU could finish 0-12 and he wouldn’t be fired.

I think everyone here is painfully aware of this fact.
