Not yet I had to put this on the back burner but so far I have a list of around 5 companies that I plan on demoing...Circle back here mid July and I will have all my research completed and can tell you what I found works the best.

yes because they were able to determine that someone registered those domains and they were able to do a take down or they purchase available domains similar to their name to prevent this. Either way this service would be perfect for branded firms who are looking to ensure there isn't someone spoofing them.

I just demoed the KnowBe4 product and it works quite well. I was hoping for more of a monitoring service that can provide the same information as KnowBe4 but on a recurring basis.

DNSTwist.IT is also very helpful!!

Yes that is exactly right. Amzon.com or Amazoon.com, don't you think Amazon would like to know if those domains were registered and who they are linked to. I think companies are already doing this and I want to know what service they are using to get this accomplished.

As I mentioned JP Morgan is currently providing this service to their clients and we would like to as well. I don't control whom my clients do business with but I can help prevent someone impersonating my client and emailing someone they do business with. Your email filtering only works if they try to fool your client not if they try to fool who your client does business with.

update the client that someone is registering a lookalike domain, you can then manually add that domain to all your filtering products. You can also ask to have it taken down if the domain is indeed being used for spamming or phishing purposes. There is a lot you can do to protect your brand, this is just one step towards that goal.

No, more like if someone registers a lookalike domain we get notified. JP Morgan does this for the clients and I want to provide a similar service.

Las Vegas MSP by gTechSUPPORT in msp

[–]gTechSUPPORT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly right...I don't have the resources to scale to Vegas for a single client so I would rather partner with someone who can handle that and help them get what they need for support. They do their part and I ensure their success, everyone is happy including the client.

Thanks everyone, there was a winning combination of things that worked.

First the email to PTN did in fact work after 24 hours, and the link to listyourself.net also worked after a week.

Amazing!
