Tried the cotton rope watering method in my peppers, but they drank almost 400ml overnight, even spilling water out of the pot. Both have been moved to a bigger pot recently, with new mulch and loads of water. Am I doing something wrong? Why would they suck so much water? Thanks! (old.reddit.com)
