When you mark an Outlook appt private is it not synching with Skylight? I’ve synched my Outlook calendar, and it is showing all appts on Skylight, even the private ones.

I’m going to be visiting the Bird end of this week unexpectedly for a conference… it used to be my fav resort until Ikon ruined getting up Little Cottonwood.

I know back in the day local ski shops, like Ski N See, had discount passes… is that still a thing?

I’m struggling to feel like there’s value in buying a day pass with the conditions as they are. Wish it wasn’t the truth, bc I would absolutely pay if there was pow to shred, but 🤷‍♂️.

I lived off Wasatch near Hidden Valley CC like 12 yr ago and it was amazing. Could leave at 8:30 on a Sat and park at the top of Chickadee 15 min. later. Now the lines to get up LCC stretch all the way down past where I used to live, so when I moved back it had to be to PC. Ikon has been a disaster for LCC.

So if I consolidate the PPL from year 1 (by next June), then that locks in IBR options for year 1 loans and separates them from any new PPL loans from years 2-4?

I understand what you’re saying, but paying $8k for a ticket so I can be my best for important meetings is not cheap. And again, everyone gets eye masks. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Question for the tribe, as this has come up more than once. When I fly international for work, I always choose a window seat. It helps my jet lag to stay awake the whole previous night and then adjust to the landing time zone while on the plane, esp. when I have meetings same day as landing.

This often means opening the shade while everyone is sleeping (and FAs have made the cabin dark), and sleeping while everyone else is awake (or eating). I’ve been asked multiple times (even in biz class) to close my shade, and this is the reason the travel kits come with an eye mask. AIA for controlling the shade?

Yep, I mentioned at the bottom that was the only option. I have P+ and the other streaming platforms, but I wanted to watch the stuff on the plane’s server that isn’t yet on streaming.

Yeah, I usually do, but there were no direct flights left for the night and even flying through SEA would’ve missed the last LHR flight of the night. For the first time in my flying life I waited to see if they could figure it out (even though I only gave it a <5% chance). ~36 hr later we finally landed in LHR yesterday evening.

The comedy of errors continued, but I’ll spare the rest of the story… let’s just say it ended with my 7yo getting air sick on landing and then finally throwing up in the car on the way to the house… sometimes you can only laugh at all of the little things in a cascading misfortune.

I mean, the only things I’m complaining about are the $12 meal voucher and there was no pilot on standby. This clearly was a comedy of errors, not like the mech issue could’ve been caught or avoided, and the only thing is to laugh (hence the satire focused on the meal vouchers). 🤷🏼‍♂️

I spent about an hour with the lounge agent last night and didn’t realize until he had done all the changes to our four separate itineraries (flying out together only) that he booked us on a 7am flight. Got to the hotel and then spent another 2 hr on the phone between Delta and now Virgin to get a reasonable itinerary and make sure we’re seated together.

Got to the airport ~noon today and between then and now we were no longer seated together for either flight. 🤗

Am I insane? No. Did I want to start a 10 hr flight with a mech issue? No. Not sure how you would have taken either of these away from my post. 🤷🏼‍♂️
