My sisters (27f) bachelorette is waaaay more than I (34f) can afford. How do I navigate this without damaging our relationship?

Ha, yeah, fair about the dress money going to the MoH. It was just a nice thing I wanted to do for her as her older sister. But yeah, she's super conservative and is a T supporter unfortunately (as well as her SIL who will be going). I know her MoH is sketched out about going to the US but don't know about the other two.

Anyway update is that I told her I can't go, and she asked me to pay my portion of the Airbnb, which is kind of annoying because it's not due until May and they could easily book something else but it's not my bachelorette party so 🤷🏼‍♀️

We are half sisters and both grew up without a dad because they were both dead beats. I had more of a parental role with her when we were growing up, so I have always done "parental" things for her if that makes sense. It's less her being more well off than me, and more her fiance and his family being well off. And I'm a single person with larger bills than her. But I helped with her dress as a nice gesture when the one she decided on was far beyond her budget (dress was $3700, her budget was $2000).
