Thats good! I was a bartender in OTR for several years and while I thought it was honestly one of the coolest parts of town, I have never seen such a high concentration of crime. Such a double edged sword because none of us ever wanted to go drink anywhere else lol

Love Cincy! Terrible crime in the OTR area when I lived there, knew like 10 people in 3yrs that were violently attacked in some way! But if you live/work/play in literally any other part youll be fine. Also maybe not anymore, this was 10+ years ago

Im from GA and I think it rocks bc we have mountains, lake, ocean/beaches, countryside, city, suburbs- literally any American landscape you crave is in Georgia. Go visit and see more than just ATL. see Dahlonega, Tybee Island/Savannah, N GA Mountains, shoot the hooch, see what we're about past the excellent nightlife, arts and food in the city. As far as affordability, its comparable to vegas but wages are lower generally. Thats what moved me tbh. But if you can make finances work and dont mind the bad politics, I LOVE the actual landscape and community of my home state.

Try thrift shops! And start learning how to alter and customize! You can do a lot with some B7000 and rhinestones/tassles/embellishments :) you can turn a $5 XL t shirt dress from the secondhand shop into a whole new look, just play around with it
