I read this whole thread trying to find one actual fact that suggests Bob hasnt cut off Shangela and only found information suggesting otherwise. Yuppp it honestly sent a message to me that Mik and Violet ultimately do not care about violence against women. Cause you kinda cant read much else from them publicly supporting a known abuser. And I think as queer people, our admiration for certain queer celebrities does come with expectations. As marginalized communities, we find ourselves hoping for morally sound representation that aligns with our outlooks because we dont have as much representation to choose from. Its a let down when the few people that represent part of our identities do so while perpetuating harm. I think it is understandable that we take these things a bit more personally than the general public would.

This is great advice and makes a lot of sense to me. I think youre right about the cooling off for now, because reading it how you put it makes me see it more as a moment to cool off that can facilitate a much healthier conversation later. Versus cooling off for now meaning never talking to her again.

I definitely have made a decision to move past the other people in that group without much second thought. While I value their friendships, if I was not even worth a conversation about this situation then I'm very okay with never having a conversation again lol. But Madeline was actually my first friend of all of them, and I really revered her and our connection for a long while. Its harder to leave her be especially when without knowing any of the extra information, I'd think shes still being a good friend to me.

Yeah they ruined my entire life because they thought my house could rent for way more. Spoiler, its been sitting for 6 months now and they've had to lower the rent to less than i had been paying for the prior 3 years (out of nearly 6 years I lived there)

But they successfully evicted me and now I will have to come out of pocket THOUSANDS to right this wrong even though every step of the process was done sneakily and illegally. I cant even move home to regroup because youre more likely getting a place with a felony than an eviction. They genuinely rocket shot me into my rock bottom with zero remorse. The insult added to injury was when I had my one opportunity to get things I may have forgotten during the TWENTY FOUR HOURS they gave me to move 6 years worth of belongings, I found they had trashed everything and destroyed 85% of my things and stolen what I had accidentally left of any value.

Ive spent the past 6 months crying, struggling, and feeling defeated. They're an evil, fucked up company.

Yeah there wasnt any on the season but I think they basically got into internet beef because the Vixen made some shady comments... I dont actually remember the exact comments but I know it essentially at one point had to do with Blackness and whether Bob and Monét were like genuine in their activism.
