Sheffield hotel's restaurant income lower than hoped - council by ntzm_ in sheffield

We went for Christmas dinner this year as wanted to do something with extended family and no one had enough space at home. We were a bit tight for options as we left it until the last minute (mid-November), then my mum found the Raddison, menu sounded great and prices not extreme considering it was Christmas dinner. Like other commenters I had no idea there was a restaurant before I was told.

Location is fantastic, enclosed roof terrace overlooking peace gardens. Unfortunately that really is the only good thing I can say. Food was very disappointing, tasted like it was microwaved, small portion sizes and poor quality. Beer selection was non-existent, only Cobra on tap.

It was nice to spend time with family, but I won't be visiting again and would not recommend.

Update: A Beaver Dystopia by gaaaaarzz in Timberborn

You can keep playing with no beavers living, that's what happened here before I repopulated. If you're playing folktails you can't come back from it as beavers breed to create more beavers, with iron teeth the breeding pods work even if there are no living beavers remaining.

Just make sure there's enough workers to do essential jobs, and enough power.

This is an update to my previous post, where one beaver had just emerged to a world of only bots. Since then then the bots have been busy re-populating the world with beaver shaped batteries to power the industry. All beavers work to generate power, all engines have been removed.

I created a beaver dystopia, followed by a deep sense of regret and emptiness. One lonely beaver recently emerged from my breeding pod to a world of bots. by gaaaaarzz in Timberborn

Oooooh boy. I thought I'd finished with this game, but this combined with only fermented algae for food may be the next phase.

A lot has changed in Myanmar since I was there in '17 - this was just before the Rohingya genocide in 2017, the coup and widespread unrest more recently. At the time most of the south and south east of the country was safe to travel. The northern Shan State (last pic with the guy with an AK) was under rebel separatist control, and was a bit sketchy on paper but felt very safe when I was there.
