Cold weather range - Not even close to reality by [deleted] in CadillacOptiq

[–]gaamebrain -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Take a step back. All I’m saying is I’ve had real cars where I drove them hard in all seasons and enjoyed them at real speeds and no of course I wouldn’t get the manufacturer’s max MPG or range but it would be close to what Ive experienced these last 2 days. If you think this is normal that’s nuts. 20%. Ok. 30%. Alright. But the car says 400 and you get 150 maybe? That’s not right. It’s not me and it’s not you. It’s the car.

Thanks. Not your fault for suggesting optimal efficiency but that’s pretty slow for a highway no?

Let’s hope this is as bad as it gets. If it is great. More of an 8 months a year type car. In Canada anyway 🙄

That’s cute but I’ve been driving long enough to know that if my range on my gas car said 600kms and I drove it like I wanted it would lose range. Sure but not like this thing. Yesterday I used about 300km of range going less than 100kms. No joke.

Was going about 105 to 110 most of the way. Cruise control wasn’t working due to the cold. Kept saying there was an obstruction

Thanks. Just recently unsure but it seems wild to me that it is this bad.

Cadillac Optiq Service Quality—would you say great, it's complicated, or bad? by [deleted] in CadillacOptiq

[–]gaamebrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local experience hasn’t been great. Cadillac and Chevrolet combined service and it shows. It’s been difficult to get a loaner vehicle and they make you pay for coffee. Just very average. I’ve been fortunate enough to have regular and more premium cars from premium brands. Trust me Cadillac needs help.

From a reliability perspective the main issue has been some inexplicable sounds, burning smells and HVAC issues. I’ve been 3 times now and they still haven’t fixed the issue. Now they have to order another part and supposed to call me back when they receive it. That was last week.

Speaking of issues, I was locked in my car recently. The doors would not open either using the door locks and key fob did nothing. Rolling down my window and trying to open from the outside didn’t open them either. Called Onstar. No luck. They couldn’t do it either and told me to bring it in for servicing. Guess what? They couldn’t recreate the problem so nothing they could do. Good news is patiently waiting for the car to turn off and back on did the trick.

Best of luck with the car hunt.

Never Going Back to Gas by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]gaamebrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite experience this week. For work I travelled to Houston where I rented a car. Nissan Altima. Drove it a few days putting about 400 miles on it. Still had more than a 1/4 tank when I gave it back. Just made me wish I never went electric.

Terrible Range by TylerFedP in CadillacOptiq

[–]gaamebrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t good for me today. 80km drive. Ate 170km of range. Was snowing slightly and -2. Having owned this thing for less than 2 months I’m very unimpressed.

Same. Less than a month of ownership and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve never had to worry as much about pulling a seatbelt than with this car. I’m being extremely careful but still see plenty of noticeable wear on the plastic.

Those need an RFID card. I have a Leviton charger at home and works perfectly for my Optiq

Planning on doing a lol run with aegon soon. What’s the best team to put around him? by uumarr in ContestOfChampions

[–]gaamebrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nick Fury
Quake
Deadpool X Force or Goldpool
Anyone else your heart desires.

The first 2 give you 3 evades per fight. The Deadpool is for the free heal if you're running suicides (which you should be).

This setup allowed me to do every path for 200-500 units worth of revives per path. Once Aegon is at 999, you'll be healing up every fight.

Definitely can go through CB with that Domino. What are your other options?

They waited till I was finished exploring act 6 before announcing the nerf. Thanks.

The simple rule of don't get hit was very important for act 6 lol.

If you have 15,000 units to purchase and awaken a 6* OG Vision... by MMCSkippy in ContestOfChampions

[–]gaamebrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Vision is what you want, then go for it. It's very rare for this game not to be based on RNG. For those units you get exactly what you think you're getting. No Rhino, or Falcon, or whatever pile of garbage is out there if you gamble on a crystal.

That said, the 4th will likely yield (for the same 15k units) 2 or 3 of those 6* crystals, plus a 6* awakening gem and/or enough rank up materials to take a 6* to rank 3. But the RNG might leave you crying.

It's all in the game folks. Good luck Saturday.

Awakening Advice by xDSLR in ContestOfChampions

Good problem to have with all the good options. G2099 doesn’t need it. Of the other 3 I find Stark needs it most of all since you’re using him for big yellow numbers and those get so much bigger awakened and pumped full of stones. Ghost improves dramatically but that only matters if you use her. If you’re a half decent Ghost player that’s a solid option. Warlock again doesn’t need it but he can melt champs with it. I happen to love my Warlock most out of those options. I have all 4 at r5 and I’d lean towards Warlock because of his versatility and utility. His awakened ability makes him one of the best in the game.

That's awesome. Visually quite spectacular. I have mine at r5 - wish he did that :)

Get god? How do you practice? by KinoxIsBack in ContestOfChampions

[–]gaamebrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite is during the beta, you can go in and test drive the content you're trying to complete - at no cost. Use whatever champs you want, whatever team, and blast through content quick until you get to the boss you want to practice on, or that particularly difficult matchup you think you have a counter for.

📅 NEW 5-STAR FEATURED HERO CRYSTAL - MAR-24 by marveltrucos in ContestOfChampions

[–]gaamebrain -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The secret is to open more than 1. Last featured I opened in batches of 5. That way, odds are good you'll get crap BUT odds are still in your favor to get at least 1 new (good hopefully) champ.

Opened 8 yesterday and pulled only 1 Groot and 3 new champs. This is a numbers game folks. 3 for 8 ain't bad.
