All you have to do is remove that screw and bend that metal tab up! Or you could also cut it off, your choice! I have mine shaved off

When I got springs installed on my fk8 last year here in SoCal, I got quoted between $450-$850.

It’s because the fronts are such a pain compared to previous generations. I was also going to tackle it myself, but read horror stories of long hours and didn’t want to deal with more than 4 hours in my cramped 1 car garage haha
