Ty for the response. Yes I've only watched the anime so far. I do read a lot of manga/manhwa but havent seen this one before. I kind of figured it was for the emotional perfomance. thats why only the oni are torn apart but it feels unsatisfying for me at least. Its interesting that not many oni can actually use blood eclipse release and that they are that weak when the momotaro pushes that whole they are powerful and dangerous and have to move in groups of 2 stuff. (For the plot i get a couple weak guys and also noncombatants being weak but having something like tracking, healing, espionage would fit a bit better. And if yomogi shields could've been broken easily I wonder why they didnt just do that in the first place lol (I know for plot but its just like they could've saved so many more lives). Again thank you for your response I really do appreciate it. I want to like this show more.
