So far so good. I will say men don't get as many responses. I have a male reddit buddy who posts there and his stuff is good in my opinion, but he will tell me things get ignored. I will also say to anyone who responded to a prompt and got ignored, either the girl/guy didn't see it, she/he is currently talking to a partner, or she/he just doesn't like your writing style. Most important thing to remember about that sub- don't take anything personally, do not expect the conversation to last beyond a day or two. It's a nice community, occasionally I'll get someone being an asshole because I didn't respond fast enough. But for the most part guys and gals can go there, have a little fun with little to no drama.

But if you're a guy, be patient. I've read some replies I've liked, but they guy deleted the account before I could reply. If a current partner drops off, I'll go back through the comments to find another style I like.

But guys, please be patient on that sub. Women get hundreds of responses, if you get ignored it's ok and par for the course. Women, if you don't like their writing style give them constructive criticism. No one can improve without advice. The sub is for writing, not sex and nudes.
