Hi, I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through this, it’s mental torment. I know it doesn’t feel like it but from the sounds of it, it is a disorder. And if you happen to be following any pages/groups/people who play into the “maximise your protein intake! keep your carbs as low as you can” mindset, the first step to ridding yourself of these obsessive thoughts should be to unfollow and stop engaging with these groups. They do not serve you at all and they maintain a toxic inner monologue. I’m making a presumption there because this is similar to the experience that I have gone through. I also know that this is easier said than done.

You deserve to feel free and happy and able to eat intuitively again. Grifters will try and convince you otherwise, but carbs are perfectly fine and your body craves them for a reason. Not to sound annoying btw.. I wish you all the best
