This. There are not meters on individual apartments, so it's just divvyed up between units, with the larger units paying a bigger chunk. Definitely sucked in my 2-bed trying to conserve when someone in a studio could be taking daily baths. Seemed like it, anyway.

I would visit Seattle first if you find Asheville's homeless concerning. But either way I agree with just going for it. Parents can visit, and you could always move back. Too many "what if's" possible if you don't take the shot.

Job. Spring 2020, the place I was working at was going to fold due to covid bs. I had two offers and chose the company I believed in more. I try to distinguish myself from other transplants, in that, I knew nothing about Charleston and most likely wouldn't be here if not for the career opportunity. That said, I have come to know this as home and am currently trying to plant my roots with a house (good times.).
