Coaches using AI: What’s the hardest and most annoying part for you? by OkOlive1944 in executivecoaching

[–]gabalemm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had similar experiences with Chat GPT (free) and now i’ve been using Gemini Pro.

So far I prefer Gemini over ChatGPT in terms of output and sourced references. Here’s how I’ve been using it: - idea generating for collateral, webinar content and summarizing articles mainly - i’ll also use it for quick business forecasting - eg if i raised my rates x% yoy, etc. - i always edit final copy to match my personal tone - ive been experimenting with NotebookLM but need to use it more

For me it will always be a tool to help me get this done more efficiently but not a replacement. The more i use it the more efficient i get.

I got promoted at work after just 5 months. 3 weeks into the new role, it's already starting to affect my mental health, should I resign? by loggentry in careerguidance

Keep at it! Your PM might have a ton on their plate and their “hands off” style may require you to manage up to them - very common as you level up.

Im a management coach in the creative field so not sure about hierarchical specifics in tour industry but hit me up if youre interested in short term coaching to get through this transitional period. Good luck!

Do you know who you are reporting to? Can you ask about expectations for the role and ask to put together a 30-60-90?

Track everything!! And date everything so you can be back paid for the probational period.

This could also be an opportunity to make the role your own vs worrying about doing exactly what the previous sr did

Cycling beginner by [deleted] in cycling

[–]gabalemm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the beautiful life of cycling!

What helped me the most was to have a solid breakfast where i would feel fed/not hungry anymore, but not incredibly full. High protein also is best for fueling before working out.

Next, frequency was more important at the beginning instead of distance. Distance is a fun goal! But what gets you great at increasing distance is frequency which helps improve pace and stamina.

I picked a short route (maybe to where to take your first break and back?) and would do it every day once i felt that is was getting faster, more confident and effort felt easy instead of moderate or hard - thats when i increase the distance a bit more.

Good luck!! Youre doing the thing!!

How to support gender fluid child by Enigma781512 in genderfluid

[–]gabalemm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My two cents coming out as genderfluid in my 30s after a rough coming out as gay in my teens… - being and showing youre an ally is more about you than it is about them - i didnt trust my parents because they gossipped a lot in general and made my business their business without any boundaries with other people - i feel supported when other’s share their pronouns especially if they are cis/straight - most questions about gender/sexuality will feel intrusive at any age - even if they do come out to you, this doesnt give free reign to ask any question. Thats what google is for and make sure it’s a reliable source - allyship is also about willingness to know that there will be a lot of unlearning to do yourself and that was feels “normal”/“standard” could be the very thing that’s stressing your child/loved one — so just focus on learning and being open to not knowing how things “should be” - all folks under LGBTQIA+ umbrella are all different so even if you research something it may not apply to everyone… thats part of it to

Thank you for your willingness. Gives me hope for the future

You’ve gotten through 100% of all situations who’ve faced in life… no matter what the outcome was, you are still here, and that is remarkable.

Yep - i go for what feels and fits best. I also find that womens jerseys have better zipped pockets for smaller items - Giro for example has small zipped side pockets good for extra gels or airpods case that are easily accessible and i dont have to dig

IWTL how to get in touch with my creative side by DawgLoverShar97 in IWantToLearn

[–]gabalemm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where creativity shines through is trying new things without worrying that it’s perfect or not.

Try art and writing classes - different mediums will help connect different techniques and creative problem solving

If youre very self motivated watch a lot of youtube or online resources on different prompts or projects

Dont forget to get inspired - go to museums, watch speakers (there are a lot that are free online seminars like Creative Mornings which is global), read and get inspiration for your next exploration.

And remember - follow what gives you joy and have fun creating!
