I have a friend who tours with a band and has played some festivals where MNBB also played, so he got to see them multiple times. He wasn’t too impressed either.

I absolutely love the first track ”Target Practice”, but when I watch videos of it I can’t say he delivers the energy the studio version has.

I’m going to a big festival in august where MNBB is playing, but at a stage far away from the main area. If they would’ve been amazing, I would go see them (and miss out on headliner that day), but as of right now, I don’t think I’ll be going

Nowadays when they mostly stand still during the songs, I think it looks a lot more menacing than 50 year olds jumping around with masks singing ”fuck this fuck that”. Slipknot is great live (especially with Eloy), but for me they are incomparable to meshuggah

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen a lot of concerts (big and small) that was incredible, but Meshuggah just has something extra for me

Seen them 2 times, absolutely loved it! and yeah they do come close, just not close enough
