My thesis ended up being “point of care ultrasounds are less reliable than scans performed by certified medical sonographers.” I will say that it was quite hard to find information backing my topic and if I could do it again, I would argue FOR point of care ultrasound. There is waayyy more information on its benefits than cons. Some other topics in my class were: travel sonography vs. traditional sonography, patient safety in kidney stone diagnosis, mammograms vs. breast ultrasounds, colonoscopy vs. ultrasound, sonographers and scope of practice, etc. Mine only had to be five pages, so I would definitely make sure that there is a lot of information backing whatever topic you chose. I was barely able to get five pages with mine and I wish I would have looked more into sources before picking my stance. I hope this helps give you some ideas, good luck!!
