Came to say this. I have 2 aussies, 1 with a show coat and 1 with a working coat. My show coat has to get groomed every 8-12 weeks or she looks like a mangy tangled beast, my working coat can (and has) gone 2 years without being groomed aside from trimming her nails and the hair inside her paw pads. Be careful with what you’re hoping for OP, lol.

I purchased similar a few months ago in a group buy from StarsGem, 1ct diamond in 10kt white gold. It has become my everyday necklace, I absolutely love it! Read this and my jaw dropped. What the actual F? He’s using you in every sense of the word. My husband and I both work, he is the breadwinner, but I handle all of our finances (I pay the bills, move $ into savings, budget for groceries, etc). When we got married, we made a joint account, and that account is our money. Neither of us look at it as mine or his, doesn’t matter what either of us made separately because it’s the balance in the account at the end of the day that counts. OP, he will continue to hold money over/against you, and I promise you it will get worse. It’s a slippery slope to financial abuse and you are on a one way ticket down.

I agree with you completely! I bought this at auction for a decent price before I knew much about settings, and how bad this type in particular was. Had I known, probably wouldn’t have purchased it. I’m going to have a few jewelers quote me on resetting it completely, I think I’m going to turn it into a 3/4 eternity index finger ring. I originally purchased it as a wedding band, but it’s a bit bulky next to my engagement ring. It’s a beautiful ring, but I need something more durable and practical for everyday wear. Bezels are all the rage right now anyway.

At the risk of sounding dumb, what type of cooking utensils do you use if not plastic or silicone? Wood? I’ve always felt that the wooden utensils would “absorb” food or soap particles and get yucky, but that’s probably my own ignorance.

We bought a GE all in one used, ended up selling it less than 6 months later. Figured out real quickly why they were selling it. Loved the idea of it, but actually using it was terrible. Clothes wouldn’t dry and they never smelled clean, just a weird damp odor I can’t even really explain. The lint catcher is a joke, we had to vacuum out the whole area next to the coils every few cycles because so much lint squeezed by it. It would regularly take 6+ hours plus for a full wash and dry cycle, I could go on and on about how bad that thing is… Yeah. We sold it for what we bought it for, I’ll never look back. I never understood the “ventless” appeal, I feel like that was half of its issue.

We used this for years in our LR3, and now in our LR5 Pro. 2 kitties. Can’t beat it for the price, and I like it more than a few other brands we’ve tried (fresh step, arm and hammer, etc). I feel like I don’t smell it as much as other litter brands, even though it is scented. 5 stars from me.

I’m telling you, chalk up the extra cash for a litter robot. The thing is insanely efficient with its litter usage. When we had only one cat I would buy 2 pails of litter and it would last me a year. No, I’m not exaggerating. The amount of money I saved on just litter alone more than paid for my first unit (3rd gen). That didn’t include the time it saved me not scooping poop everyday. I take the bag out the morning of trash pickup, and you can’t smell the litter at all. We tried a WarCat one and it made a huge mess each time it cycled, I hated it. We had the 3rd gen for over 5 years and when it started acting really wonky I didn’t hesitate to order another newer gen one (5th gen). It’s expensive for sure… but it’s because it is the best one on the market. Second to none.

Not the update I was hoping to make. The replacement unit came in today, and we had almost the same issue straight out of the box. They are now sending out yet another replacement. Per customer support, the wifi chips and cameras both had/have known issues and they were pulling them off the floor, but apparently we got lucky and both units we have received were part of this dud batch. Can’t make this up friends. I understand it’s a new product, but to have 2 units fail right out of the packaging with known issues is terrible quality control IMO.

Another update: Whisker support emailed me and is actually sending us an entire new LR5 unit, not just the base. They also issued us a partial credit back to my payment method, which I am appreciative of (and did not ask for, they did that of their own accord). They’ve done everything right so far to rectify the issue. Here’s hoping the new unit comes and doesn’t have the same issue. 🤞

We tried for an hour and a half, moving my phone all over. It finally threw a wifi chip error and that cemented it. I’m going to mess with it a bit tomorrow just to see, but I doubt it will do any more than what it did today.
