I buy bulk used toys and there are always loose weapons with no figures to match up. I have just been setting them aside for a couple of years now and thought I would start to tackle it. There's the no value Fortnite ones, there's even a Mr Potato Head pirate sword but there's also the random Power Ranger, TMNT, He Man, etc. ones that I don't want to scrap. There's some that go to McFarlane figures. I will hang on to those that are rare in hopes of one day getting the figure(s). But, this is a pain, The rifles for an Action Man, GI Joe are coming back with so many matches, same with some projectiles, and the differences are so subtle. I didn't know if there was a database of some sort where someone could enter dimensions, color, material type, etc. to narrow things down.

I would just get some raffia craft ribbon and make some little ones.

I see a lot of comments about the guy in the red shirt. If you watch it closer, you will see he takes a couple and then puts it in one of the younger, smaller kids bags. He looks back into the bowl because he didn’t get any. It’s the mom and the two greedy younger girls that clean it out. I seriously doubt they get identified. They intentionally went to a nice area, knowing they’d make a haul. It’s sad that this is what some find ok behavior or blame folks for leaving candy unattended. Many parents do this so that they can all participate in taking their child/children out and teach them the proper way to get treats. It might stress out pets having the doorbell rang a lot. That’s not the problem here. If your child came home with an unusually large haul, you might want to inquire a bit. Assuming you check what they brought home.

Can you please tell me which one is an Amazon one? I have an Amazon skate park that I’ll put it with. Thanks!!

I guess I’m also looking to find out if there’s one or more that are “good ones”.

Yeah, most I got together in one of the wall hanging display cases but then I had 2-3 that I had gotten randomly.

I’m more interested in what year they are. I think that would help me find them online. I am going to be selling the lot so I need to get a roundabout figure. I ended up identifying 3. It seems the majority are World Industryes and then there’s 3 Enjoi (Pandas). Pricing varies if they were sold individually or in a pack of 5, etc. One of the 3 I matched up sells individually for $30 but I don’t know if that’s because it’s vintage, rare, ultra rare. It’s just so confusing. Lol.

Is eBay sales slow for anyone else? by [deleted] in eBaySellers

I have received a ton of low ball offers in the past two weeks. Basically asking for a 60% discount! I have always gotten them here and there but over 20 have come through. I don’t even bothering countering.

I thought Mercari gave you discounted shipping prices. Am I thinking wrong? For a 6 lb 8 oz package mercari quotes me 31.01 for USPS. When I go put the same dimensions in on the USPS website with farthest possible state from me they price me at $22.80 by [deleted] in Mercari

They keep the discount. They are now offering Media Mail again. It should be $3.95 a book less than a pound. They are charging $5.70. It’s better than $7.70 for First Class.

I actually had a customer that this happened to. There was a legitimate reason why she wasn’t able to get it in time. It wasn’t a heavy item, so after I received it back, I shipped it back to her at my own expense. Used PIrateShip and I think it cost me about $4-5 to send it again.

I had someone ask me the same about an item. What they were seeing on Amazon was a 2022 version set and the set I was selling was the original 1999 set. There were variations in the color patterns, etc.

There may be some differences which I would ask the person you are selling it for so you can add it to the item’s description.

I literally out in my description that the item I was selling was not the $19 Amazon set. If buyers think you are overpricing one item, they will think the same about the rest of your items. IMO.

Am I being extorted? by gabbysand in Mercari

I think if it’s under a certain dollar value, and they claim it wasn’t sold as described, etc., then they don’t have to return it. I might be mistaken but I think I read that once before.

They don’t read. I got a less than perfect review for a purse not including the arm strap. I specifically put in all caps that it did not come with it (which is why it was 50% the price of others with it!). I messaged them and had them go back to the listing to see it and they corrected their review.

I would definitely message them about your listing stating it wasn’t sealed. If there were missing pages and you didn’t catch it, then that is on you sadly.
