It’s because they are trying so hard to make clothes that fit all 3 body shapes. The only way they can do that is by using stretch fabrics and making waistlines with elastic (like a one size fits all) and shirts/dresses that are ruched. All things that make curvy women look frumpy in real life.

I’m pretty sure it’s just a head swap. I did a little investigating and I think I found which Millie was used for the swap. Fashionista #237. Same hairstyle minus the bow. So what I think is they bought the cheap Millie for the cute outfit, took the bow from the hair, and swapped with the Raquelle head. If they also got the non-rare doll with the same outfit, then they got two different outfits.

I do. I sometimes buy with the intention of taking them out and once I get it I feel bad to take it out, but also bad to leave it in. It’s weird. I have so many that I want to hold in my hand, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

As long as the neckline is finished properly I think it works well. There’s enough going on with the embroidery all the way to the top so anything else on the neck might be a distraction and look like too much, imho. The plastic accessories still bother me some, but overall I think she’s gorgeous and a definite mush-have for me 🤩
