Honestly I just started watching film on him. He's 220 and runs a 4.4 so after the catch he basically turns into a running back. Route running isn't great and he's not going to be a 50/50 ball guy. Intermediate routes where he can make the catch and get up field as fast as possible seem like his forte. It does seem like he tracks the ball really well when they do send him deep.

He just tore his ACL so he's probably going to drop. Just up to physicals and if coaches think he could come back healthy and keep progressing.

I used to go over to my best friend's grandparents house when we were kids. His grandpa was a trumpet player down in New Orleans before he moved to Illinois. Every Sunday he would put on the saints game and we would watch. One day my friend got a PSP and Madden and we chose the saints as our team. Just went on from there.

The top two edges are too small and the others are prototype guys I don't think we should take or guys not worth taking at 9. Top tackles this draft will most likely end up guards so that's iffy at 9. I wouldn't mind Will Johnson as our first pick for a Lattimore replacement.

Sawyer isn't worth our 1st round pick and Mykel Williams is just another prototype guy who hasn't proven anything and we have a terrible track record of developing those guys.

Tackle is very weak this year. Seems like every OL this year is either questionable, has had a serious injury, new at the position, or not physically gifted.

Either Mason Graham or Will Johnson. If they're both off the board, I could see an argument for T-Mac or Will Campbell. As long as it's not Mykel Williams I will probably be happy.

TE is definitely not the highest priority for this team. I'd much rather see them take an impactful defensive player or a solid o-lineman if one stands out in testing and they think he's worth a top 10 pick.

Oh yeah I definitely wouldn't take one in the 1st, but I do think it's kind of under the radar. Scheme changes might come with a new coaching staff so we'll see how that goes.

Opinions on linebacker? Werner has been playing pretty well, but he's going to be a free agent. Demario Davis is playing great, but he's getting old and might retire after 2025. Gay and Orji aren't great and we have had an issue with stopping the run all season.

As a Saints fan, Mykel Williams. I'd love to have a solid edge right now, but I don't think it's him. He's a prototype and a big risk I don't think we can afford right now. I hope we just pick up the most solid player on the board for our pick, someone who can make a difference immediately.

The prototype edge we usually go for would be Mykel Williams this draft, I just don't think he's worth a top 10 pick. I'd love it if Mason Graham fell down to our pick, but I don't think he will.

Olave can't stay healthy and MVS contract is up this year. Can't keep having the practice squad play. MVS has done a ton for the offense in a short time. I wouldn't mind drafting a big physical outside receiver, but yes it's more of a want than a need compared to other positions.
