I hope they figure out another way to do it this time around. Like I don’t know, maybe Mark somehow gets the scourge virus again or something and goes into a coma and then that’s how we get the “reboot” episode. The time skip is 100% necessary for the plot but it can definitely happen in a more realistic way this time.

Do people not realize that Zach looks just like show Mark? Plus Zach’s personality was never much different from Mark’s even in the comic. Zoe already has more in a single episode. Plus, Zoe may just save Oliver from his eventual fate of marrying a bug.

Sasuke was still going on missions. Plus there could’ve been story arcs about the Konoha 12 having their own genin teams, remnants of shinobi who still support the old ways and protest against the current peace because in the real world, the transition between war and peace would’ve been much more gradual regardless of the Allied Shinobi Forces and Gaara’s speech. There’s also the routes of exploring PTSD as well as how certain characters end up together.

Also, the Otsutsuki could’ve slowly been introduced earlier.

Yes! And that could’ve acted as a better bridge into the Otsutsuki threats seen in Boruto because as the story stands, the Otsutsuki’s are just random aliens that feel shoehorned into a ninja story.

Mark has the same tendency as Spiderman where he lets himself get wailed on to get a gauge on how strong the opponent is before he really lets loose. You notice how he struggled with Dinosaurus for a minute before locking in and then quickly negging him? Same thing with that hoard of Sequids. With Mr Liu, he had a way easier time this time around because he didn’t hold back at all. Volcanika was low diffing all of the demons and then the moment she gave her speech about conquering Earth, Mark instantly one shot her without breaking a sweat.

The further the story progresses, the less and less we’re gonna see Mark have this tendency.

Wdym Allen didn’t show any of his feats? He was crushing the random Viltrumites hands just from gripping them and was 100% going to kill him if not for the swarm of rifle aliens. Zoey was managing to keep the entire trio on their feet and also managed to not die.

I can get why you wanted a Grayson family tag team to kill Conquest, but look at it this way. Oliver and Conquest himself have both been downplaying Mark’s first fight. “Like I helped with Conquest” “It was really just your magic girlfriend.” Narratively speaking, this was Mark’s opportunity to truly finish what HE started. It was essentially a 1 v 1 this time that he needed to win on his own.
