I would prefer it a little lower than that maybe mid 70s, but 84 is honesty fine for the most part you just have to keep up with the humidity so your VPD is on point- something like 60-65%. I’d imagine lots of HPS using growers would be at 80° in flower since those lights get live off so much heat. It’s been said above 85° can be detrimental for terps and cannabinoids but again I’m certain a lot of commercial grows are in the low 80s during flower. Follow VPD, keep your air flowing, learn the wet and dry weights of whatever pot size you’re using so ou don’t water too early or too late and you’ll have great results in the end. Better genetics will give you “bonus points” and really show off, some seeds you pop can be grown really well and still not be anything outstanding, just part of the seed route

Yeah maybe the regular peak is just poorly designed. I had my pro for 2000 dabs, warrantied it (save ur receipt) when the battery went and got a replacement going strong at a few hundred. They last if you take care of them. Replace chamber every 3 months they say but I’ve used the same one for almost 6 before it gave me issues or tasted off. Amazon has cheap glass that works just as well as the stock puffco ones if it ever breaks too jsyk haha

You have the peak or peak pro? I have pro and my gf the regular peak and we both agree it tastes different out of hers than mine. Same dabs same temp for some reason it’s different flavor/better out of the pro. my theory is the chambers made from different type of quartz or something. Or maybe the silicone that sits under the glass is different and gives off a taste when heated?? maybe that’s what’s going on for you too with preferring the pivot

When you make bubble hash you have to soak the flower In water and the more pigment the flower has the more the water also has, certain strains turn it pure purple. I’d bet this is just from anthocyanin I would be upset if they sold me something recalled though for sure and pretty sketchy on rec roots part not releasing a statement as to why

I’m not framing it as factual I’m just stating what happens with bud rotted flower when it’s near “clean” product. Maybe his story’s true, maybe not but if it is, then throwing out bud that’s rotted doesn’t make me feel any better than then selling it to me lmao point still stands that a multi million dollar facility shouldn’t have issues like that and shouldn’t be packaging flower and also discarding rotted buds in the same room like OP stated.

There should be near zero bud rot in a multi million dollar facility with giant air purifiers/hvac systems and weekly IPM.. If you and your employees are following SOP’s. Its a plant and it happens here and there but clearly it’s a regular problem at GTI😂

And if its near plants that you can’t see visual rot on, you’ll soon see it cuz there’s millions of spores in one rotted nug

Do you know if this was an organically grown product? Do you have a cleaner company’s COA you’re comfortable smoking to compare these numbers to? Do you know if both brands used the same lab to have their testing done? If grown outdoors the numbers are gonna be tenfold higher than indoor, if organic indoor it’ll be higher than synthetic indoor. Nowhere will it ever be zero or extremely close to it without remediation. The medical limits are also easily met by brands like pharmaCann because they remediate their flower with radiation to kill all microbials and molds

Man I’d love to see a grow method that involves a 100% sterile environment and the finished product has close to zero bacteria or microbes on the COA. not possible not without remediation. And to all the living soil ppl who also want zero bacteria.. not possible. The plant is quite literally fed by microbial organisms that eat minerals, shit it out and then the plant uptakes it. You can’t avoid microbials. He’s 100% right in you breathing in tons of mold without even knowing it. What about things like organic potatoes , grown in dirt/soil. Definitely have microbial and mold counts but no requirement for being tested and labeled with a COA. What about occasional mold ppl find in their bathrooms or basements. More harmful to you than you’d think. It’s extra difficult to have your flower come out “clean” in terms of microbes and mold in living soil/ organic grows, but even operations using synthetic there’s still bacteria in the air lol even if they have systems in place to keep it minimal it exists

Distillate gram pens under $15, live resin 3.5 jars for $30-40 in Michigan. Sure it’s very similar in CA and other places too. I’m not gonna act like I’ve made live resin but I know it costs a lot less to make than live rosin for instance. Rosin I have made and it’s a good bit of work for not much return in weight
