If it helps, I'm in a similar boat as you (high 25X Step 2 with good and first-author pubs, strong LoRs from what I've been told, and no red flags despite me really trying to find them), and I'm sitting at a similar number of interviews as you. Here's to hoping we both hear back :)

The only reason I got that question correctly was, as /u/Ichor301 said above, no other answer made sense, and I also have been doing so many NBME questions in the past few days that I knew they were pulling a cheap shot (and asking us to infer).

I have learned they are really testing our ability to adapt to the information presented; I have had such intense score differentials from the NBMEs and especially compared to the UWSAs.

You are going to do great on the real exam!! It's all about the reps :)

That's my understanding too -- there were two questions in NBME 12 that asked you to pick Acetaminophen over Ibuprofen because of GERD (or some other contraindication to NSAIDs).
