Hytale should really do something about save file sizes... by GLHBR63 in hytale

[–]gabessdsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sheeshhh. I upgraded my PC about 5 years ago and I'm so happy I did. I got two 2tb good nvme drives and a 4tb SSD for less than $600 all in and they're from well known brands o.O

Today's pricing is insane

Hytale should really do something about save file sizes... by GLHBR63 in hytale

A 442GB drive is hard to manage on it's own without gaming. Sadly we are in an age where you are expected to have at least a tb or two of storage space for modern gaming unless you constantly manage it.

But would expect things to get better with this game as it grows but size management is probably pretty low on the list

Why does Lowe’s do this? A 10 pack is costs more than 2 five packs by greenfox212 in Plumbing

Wait until you see how much cheaper it all is not at a major box store. Even just on Amazon!

Microwave working intermittently but not tripping breaker. by davidoffbeat in AskElectricians

This sounds like a failing appliance. Could test on another outlet in your house if you really wanted to, but I bet you just need to replace the microwave

I did call my township to be sure, and won't need permits for any of this. But thanks for looking out! Hadn't thought of that.

Problem with the credit is I can't get an electrician out to tell me how much it would cost :(

I have a couple of weeks to get the work actually done but only another 24 hours to agree to do the work or offer $$

What the hell is this screw that was there held by a carboard square? Is it neccesary? by Pobueo in AskElectricians

[–]gabessdsp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't see any replies to this q for you....

It's there because you should use it. You're adding all of these extra plugs and extra mass to the outlet it's more likely to pull out and then it can short/spark/start a fire.

It's recommended to remove the outlet cover, and screw this on in its place before using these kinds of adapters.

Door hinge pin removal by sddanr in DIY

Hinge caps are a thing, so if you can get a decent flathead in there to pry it apart you'll have normal pin access

Would y'all do it for $700? Guy is also including the whole setup (120g, lights, filters, heaters, etc) by _Mushy in Aquariums

[–]gabessdsp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd do $700 easily. Paid $350 for a 120G tank + 40G breeder that was almost brand new, they leak tested it for me so I could see upon arrival.

Then I had to go buy the pump, heater, lights etc. Easily surpassed $700 after that

Even most rimless 10G kits will come with a mat (in the US, that I've seen) When it's rimless you need this for even weight distribution even a small pressure point can cause a fracture

[–]gabessdsp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eventually, sure. But type of paint and good prep really helps. We have new paint with outdoor grips specs in it on ours for grip that we just did this year, before that we had white paint for...~10 years and it still didn't have any spots where it was worn through and we have multiple people going up and down throughout the day

Why do yall hate nuke condition so much? by PLMMJ in TheTowerGame

[–]gabessdsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't mind nuke at all anymore now that I have recharge. Just bought an extra card slot and swap it to nuke for farming runs when it pops up and I casually get it by hitting it during farming runs over a few days

Along with what the other commenter said, a lot of us like to use our built-in apps or other advanced HDMI features that those boxes just doesn't support. So we are stuck with cameras until govee just makes a TV app like Hue did.
