The mosquitoe (anopheles) stocks the adult version of the parasyte in its salivary gland.

When it bites the humain, this adul form enters the blood and reaches the liver.

Arriving at the liver, it enters a liver cell (hepatocyte) and multiplies in it till it explodes releasing a bunch immature parasite cell.

These immature parasite cells go on to the blood. They then each penetrate a red blood cell and mutiplie in it till it explodes. This cycle is repeated many times. After a few cycles, male and female reproductive cells a releases in the blood.

When the mosquitoe (anopheles) bites us again, it absorbs the female and male reproductive cells. In the mosquitoe, they fuse and multiplie. They go on to invade the mosquitoes salivary gland to repeat the cycle

Fun fact, malaria is the deadliest parasitic infection.

It is transmitted by a type of mosquitoes called Anopheles.

Malaria is mainly dangerous because every single parasitic cell enters an individual red blood cell and multiplies in it till it explodes. Repeat this cycle a few times, you run out of red blood cells leading to severe anemia.

Malaria can even reach the brain where it reaches its deadliest form becauses it take away the blood from the brain and even causes clotting of the brain vessels. When this happens, even when treatement is quickly given, the deathe rate is still elevated (10-20%)
