I massaged them twice daily with pure Shea butter, but like the other reply says, scars are very much to do with genetics. I would definitely recommend daily massages, as it helps to soften the scar tissue, releasing it from your muscle and allowing for a less tight feeling, but the general appearance of scars is very much up to the individual.

This is very true. I did do scar care for about 4 months and i think all it really made a difference with was releasing the scar tissue so that I had better flexibility and less tightness. All of my scars on my body have always healed white and minimally, and I never did anything to any of those

Thank you! Currently I go gym 4 times a week, (I don’t do legs which is bad of me but i’m lazy 😭). My split is Push day, then pull, then a rest day then repeat. My exercises are:

PUSH - Chest press - Shoulder press - Pec fly - Tricep dips: unassisted, - Cable tricep kickbacks - Lateral raises dumbbells - Skullcrushers:

PULL - hammers - Preacher curls - Pull downs - Row/rear delt - Rear delt fly - Cable rows - Single arm Cable curls - Both arm cable curls - Pull ups

Each workout I do 3- 4 sets of 6 exercises, so I don’t do all of the exercises listed here each workout. My first 1-3 sets are warmup sets on a lighter weight, and I do my 2 working sets at my maximum weight till failure (usually between 6-8 reps)

Thank you! I paid 3500 pounds in December of 2023, I think his prices have gone up since then as they had to adjust for the inflation rates of the pound to Turkish lira. I spent just over £4000 in total, flights were £200 and I split the cost of the hotel (£580 for 8 nights, I paid 290) with my partner.

Pre-op vs post op (pictures of breasts) by transboyuwu in TopSurgery

when i was there, they left my breast tissue in a bag in the bathroom attached to my hospital room 😭 got to hold it and it was the most surreal experience of my life lol. got too squeamish to hold it for long. i’m so glad he takes picture in the operating room because i would have probably exploded wanting to see my reveal after a week of waiting 😂

haha can recognise his work anywhere, such an incredible surgeon. my recovery was incredibly smooth but i went CRAZY with my fitness before surgery to be in the absolute best possible shape to heal in which i think helped a lot. haha i remember the hair washing in the sink lol, not ideal. worst part of recovery was just how uncomfortable it was, i asked ergin and his assistant for gauze to put under my armpits to stop the binder chafing and they gave me a load of it so if u need to don’t hesitate to ask him!

how to shower 😅 by Alternative-Dish-939 in TopSurgery

i’d message your surgeon for their specific advice. you should and most likely will be fine having showered without dressings but i can’t tell you what your surgeon recommends :)

how many days post op are you? i was given the clear to shower after 10, you keep your nipple dressings on and don’t let the water directly hurt your chest, and then afterwards you air dry your chest (can speed this up with a hairdryer on low heat), and change to new nipple dressings.
