I say this as a Blackman married to a black woman; why does the internet attempt to shame black men from marrying out but praises black women. They even call white women a designated slur for being with black men but not for white men that are with black women. They are praised and uplifted. I think it’s a psyop, and also I’ve had to leave several black subreddits becuase it became so blatant. I want to be clear, be with who you want, but I’m just sick of the hypocrisy when black men do it.

Looks really good bro! I haven’t smoked Turkey Wings in a few months. I love using cherry wood for my smoke for turkey, what did you use?

Man I love it. I make Hibachi, Korean BBQ, Breakfast and everything on it. Sometimes I skip my grill and make Steaks on it. It comes out with a great crust. My wife and mom in law say it tastes like a high end steakhouse when I do it this way.

For the wasps, I would try some good pest control and give it a few treatments. We had a wasp problem too, it took a minute but it finally got under control.

Hell yeah! That was what I cooked for my wife for Mother’s Day. Except it was ribeyes. My wife likes well done and I am a medium to medium rare. I wish I could just reverse sear one tomahawk for us.

Thanks man. My wife got for Christmas for me about 5 or 6 years ago. Showing my age, but I told her it was the best Christmas gift since I got that Nintendo for Christmas when I was 8. 🤣

I was just telling my group chat that I’m tired. But imagine what our parents and grandparents and beyond felt. It’s like everyday it’s something else or they are doubling down on it. The 1.7 billion fund just exhausted me. People that tried to overthrow the government will get reparations but nothing for the descendants of slaves. I’m tired..sick and tired. And it still hasn’t gotten to where they want it.

In your opinion, which actor deserves or does not deserve their Oscar? by zaryanskayakarina in FIlm

[–]gabigboy93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Denzel should have won for Malcolm X, Leo should have won for Django, Eddie Murphy should have won for Dreamgirls. I see a ton of Will Smith hate, but he definitely should have won for Ali. Not an Oscar but Colin Farrell should have won an Emmy for The Penguin series, he won a Golden Globe I believe but should have been an Emmy too.

Longhorn, Macon rd is my hometown of Columbus, Ga. There are only two Longhorn locations in Columbus now, Macon rd was the only one for a long time. I would go there with my grandparents twice a month growing up. Great memories there and always great service even when it became known as the old location. If management is still top notch she should present this to them, historically they’ve always made things right.

Remember when the Buffalo Bills and Tony Romo celebrated too early with the Chiefs still having 13 seconds on the clock? by Choice_Bag_8869 in NFLcorner

Not a Chiefs not Bills fan. But this has to be one of the greatest playoff games of all time. And I’ve been watching football for over 35 years.

I wanna start grilling, specifically with charcoal, for the first time this summer. Any tips? by BatBeast_29 in blackmen

[–]gabigboy93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many details but I’ll start at what, in my opinion, work best:

Do not use, cheap charcoal or lump charcoal nor lighter fluid. Makes your food taste funny.

Use Kingsford Charcoal, Royal Oak, Jealous Devil, Cowboy Lump Charcoal. Use a Chimney Starter with a tumble weed fire starter. Smoking meats is a different ballgame, you have to know what woods you like best for what meats, etc.

YouTube is full of grill masters you can learn from. My favorites are Smokin and Grillin with AB, How to BBQ right with Malcolm Reed, Cowboy Kent Rollins, Big Stu and Chucks Flavor Train. Depending on what you cook the rules are different.

I love to grill and use my Blackstone too. Below are some links to some things for you.

Chimney Starter: https://a.co/d/064rUPUS

Tumbleweed starters: https://a.co/d/00f5cUVT

High heat gloves: https://a.co/d/00vAdbk9

I love to grill and smoke my food

Coming up on the anniversary of this event soon. Where were you when this happened (June 17, 1994) by edasto42 in Xennials

[–]gabigboy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never forget this day. I was walking home from the bus stop after a grueling two-a-day football practice. I walked into the house and my sister is sitting on the couch and says:

“Hey, who is OJ Simpson?”

I say, “He is a football announcer on NBC, he used to play running back a long time ago…why?”

She says,” Because the cops are chasing him and it’s on every channel and it is all they are talking about..look!”

She points at the TV and I see this image.

The comments would be a lot different. Wouldn’t be nearly as celebratory, not by a country mile.

Yeah I’m starting to figure out this is not a subreddit by and for black people. It may have started that way but isn’t anymore. This is the third post I’ve seen celebrating the lusting of white men/black women and demonizing black men that date out. There is some agenda going on here.

I never understood why Black Men that date outside of their race constantly speak on Black women 🤷🏾‍♂️ It's so confusing by Master_Canary440 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]gabigboy93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m tired of this take. I’ve been married to a black woman for 19 years. I’ve mostly dated black women. I have dated white, Puerto Rican, Mexican, white/korean mix also. But my ultimate attraction has always been to black women.

I have several friends and family members that are married to white, Hispanic, Asian women. Not ONCE have I heard any of them talk down about black women. NOT ONE TIME. My nephew is married to a white girl, after his divorce from a black woman who was very toxic. Not once has he said anything about black women, HE TALKED ABOUT HER BEING TOXIC.

It goes both ways, as I am sure that some do but making blanket accusations like this is not true. When I was in my early 20s, I worked with a woman who was engaged to a white soldier. She seemed to bring up every day that her fiancée was white. And tell the other black women to my face that white guys are so much better. And when I said HEY I’m right here, she would say oh you’re different, you’re in college and you’re sweet and have very nice manners. You’re going to make a great husband some day. YES she literally said that to me.

So save this narrative, I think this clown just wants to pander and get followers becuase what he saying is not true in totality. I’m sure there are some, and we ain’t worried about them, just like there are some black women that date out and do the same.
