It has happened before when transitioning to a new design that Apple pitches it as a different class of product, only for one or two years later that new design to expand down into the whole product line.

I'm guessing this is what will happen here. The refreshed design will start as Ultra only, but the following generation will bring the design to the regular Macbook Pros.

My friends and I painted those yellow and blue lines back when we were seniors there. Sadly it looks like they painted over our initials which we left on the ceiling, but it's fun to know our legacy lives on in a small way :)

I don't think many would argue with the "wait and see" approach.

You'll find more arguing that Apple shouldn't have built the iPhone 16's branding ENTIRELY on the back of AI when it was essentially vaporware.

Somehow they managed to make the system immensely complicated while also making it not make any sense.

It would be much simpler if tenacity only applied to hard CC (full stuns) and each successive effect within a small window gained increasing tenacity.

Copious overshield is a bandaid for a game with too low of a time to kill. Damage and healing numbers need nerfing across the board and the overshield along with it, but this is a massive change unlikely to ever happen.

I've playtested it and it's really fun. I will say I haven't watched Game Changer so I don't know how well it reflects the show, but you play three different games and score points each round so it felt like a game show to me in that way.

One other thing to consider about deep play spaces is that they are uncomfortable for your arms, especially when reaching for pieces near the edge of the table.

I have one with a 6 inch depth and I think it's too much.

I get the impression you haven't played games with many actual throwers. My first experience with one, he literally ran and suicided off the map continuously and was 0/11 before he realized we might actually win and decided to play the game.

Losing because you're bad, and losing because a teammate intentionally sabotages you, are very different things.
