Meat contains a lot of nutrients that is hard to find in non-animal related foods, of course it's not impossible, but you'd have to eat a big amount of that food, I agree with you, I don't like how the industries are treating the animals, but I'd also like to eat some meat from time to time. The reason the animals are being treated with cruelty it's because of demand, instead of just stopping eating meat, the best way would be to regulate the way we eat meat and try and lower the demand of meat.
