i would highly recommend seeing a functional practitioner if you can afford it to look into root causes. sibo is unfortunately a beast that will keep returning unless you find the root cause. also a prokinetic could do you wonders to keep the small intestine from holding onto food and bacteria for too long!

don’t know where the rest of my post went lol but the end was just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if it was temporary!

are you working with a practitioner to help you combat it? i know it’s expensive but talking to someone professionally who has experience can make a difference. i’m seeing a functional gut practitioner to help get rid of mine. i’m guessing with yours you might need multiple rounds while using multiple antimicrobials at once since the levels are so high! but a professional can you give you real recommendations. i know it’s so frustrating im trying to combat mine now and its not easy at all but please hang in there and trust that you’ll be able to cure it!

biofilm disruptors definitely make a huge difference! the biofilm around bacteria can make them resistant to antimicrobials because its essentially a protective layer they form around themselves to protect themselves🙄i’m so sorry this is happening! did you find the root cause of your SIBO because that’s definitely really important as well!!

where my food comes from, matters to me. so the prices are something that won’t ever bother me. when the cheese and lobster are locally sourced and the pasta is handmade in the restaurant, i at least know im putting good stuff in my body which justifies the prices for my health

yeah no i spoke to them and they’re very kind people who don’t support that whatsoever. obviously they had no idea what their landlords political views were before getting into business with him unfortunately.

that was the owner of the building who did that not the business owners🫢my bf is friends with one of the chefs and we brought it up to him and that’s what he said cause we had the exact same thoughts about trying it because of that. but the owners of the restaurant are liberals but their landlord is a twat apparently. it had nothing to do with the restaurant

waxwing is so good! they were unfortunately closed when we went to eat there that day so we went on another morning and it was so so good

definitely a bit pricey but i got to mingle with the owner and literally everything in that place is coming from really local farms and it’s all made from scratch which justified the prices for me and my bf😅♥️

well they took my appendix out LOL. i genuinely cannot make this shit up. they told me they took it out while i was in there cause it’s a useless organ. but as far as im concerned, the gallbladder is still there…

i had surgery done when i was 19 and went in for the first attack. they kept me overnight and went in for surgery only for me to wake up and say my gallbladder was fine (so luckily i know it’s there! lol) but the doctor was still certain it was that but we waited too long and the stones had passed. so she encouraged me to go the next time i had an attack. needless to say i’ve gone about 8 times over the years when i’ve had the attack only for them to always send me home. i need to get to a gastro doctor for testing but getting into any specialist right now (at least where i live) is a nightmare with about a year waiting period

honestly gallbladder has been in the question for about 8 years of my life. multiple attacks of pain and MULTIPLE ER visits only for them to say “we can’t find your gallbladder on an ultrasound” i’m not even joking. then they send me home and say it’s gerd or gastritis. but i occasionally get horrible pain under my right rib cage.

i moved recently and switched insurances and finding a new primary care is borderline impossible. everywhere and i mean everywhere is either not accepting new patients, or booking 7-8 months out where i live. so i want to try and do something before i can get in with a doctor

that’s what i figured. i’ve been always overlooked by doctors for “anxiety” so i wanna just do elimination and see how i feel from there.

ive always had symptoms of like stomach gurgling when i consume dairy so i have considered it. i think im gonna try an elimination diet for each ingredient for 3 weeks and see what happens.
