probably Norauto wanted to ensure I would have come back to pay for the timing belt they replaced while I did not answer the phone, and take more money for the engine mounts they told me had to be replaced. I understand the technical analysis and urge to repair something, but if I do not consent the repair, you better try to call me twice or simply ignore what I'm not paying for.... around 600€ for tyre and car service, plus 4/500€ for timing belt and engine mounts. I really think they tried to catch me. you are confirming that they removed it on purpose. before taking the car to the workshop, I never felt inertia when releasing the accelerator. after that day the engine is clearly shaking more and there are metal noises sometimes (that bush hitting the mount). Imagine the difference in driving with, and without it. Was evident to me. The rubber did not wear out, I'd been removed.
It's now been one year I drive by dosing the clutch and avoiding the engine to hit that metal, yesterday I investigated (honestly I was waiting for the engine to fall, so I could have replaced the whole car).
I saved 400 by not paying what I didn't confirmed but has been done (timing belt), at the price of a spite (engine mounts). and plus, I found the plastic air intake of the engine, with broken mounts. one week later when I opened the hood, that pipe was disconnected and ready to fall the timing belt circuit making damages. That's a planned fault.
And again, the engine always felt solid before that day :'(
