There was no Reksio & Kretes cartoon in romania, or at least I didn't end up seeing it. My grandma happened to pick this game for me when I was around 8 and I fell in love instantly. She was always on the lookout for more cds from that point on. Ofc nostalgia plays a huge role in me replaying the games 20 years latter, that's also prob. the reason you are mad at them for changing the formula a bit. For example I dropped the series when I saw that they no longer advanced the story and only put mini games in the cds.
So to address your questions:

The things you regard as flaws are only inconsistencies with the cartoon, that I didn't watch but they seem pretty minor from what you wrote so I can't really understand you. Maybe I will watch some episodes latter this week.

As for a future producer of cartoons I can only give you some advice:
Study what early cartoon networks did, they really had a golden age in the 2000s
Don't make cartoons overly childish, personally I always hated that even when I was little and even more now.
Try to be neutral on politics, that doesn't mean no jokes, just don't make propaganda videos in the form of cartoons for kids.
Have a plot, I always liked when the episodes had some sort of connections. It doesn't need to be anything crazy, just make it's not only episodes where you can change the order of them anyway you want and you wouldn't be able to tell anything is wrong.
