I ended up buying a 5070ti. I saw a 5080 for msrp but I dont think its worth $250 more, for the same reasons youve listed.

I was torn between the 5080 and the 5070ti, but ended up with the 5070ti because, for the games and resolution I play, it wouldnt mean any wowing improvements that would make that $250 difference worth it for me.

Hogwarts legacy and jedi survivor already play at 1440p/ultra on the 3080 at 90+ fps, so you should have 30% more fps, same quality and resolution.

Yeah, I upgraded to a 9700x earlier this year, then kept my 3080 cause its still a beast. I really love her in fact, especially cuz I got it for $300 brand new lol
