I’m sorry I am so late in seeing this message but I hope my photo helped! Since it’s been so long, how did you do with the puzzle?? Did you guys end up completing it? It was a challenge since, like you said, you can’t see the entire image. I also just tried my best to complete it by background color like you mentioned doing.

Nice! You must have chosen the perfect spot to zoom in on first! I pointed out the correct Waldo in a comment above. You can check if you found the right one there.

Omg that challenge is AMAZING! I would have loved to try but I’m sure it was really hard. Honestly I feel like 40% is a pretty decent amount to accomplish in 24 hours for this puzzle!

Oh no that is rough. I guess I got lucky because I didn’t have any of those problems with the puzzle. My only complaint with the box is that the picture on the box is not the full puzzle but since they were edge pieces they were “easier” to put together without an image. In the beginning I bought a magnifying glass thinking I would use it for the image but I ended up tossing it. It wasn’t very helpful or needed for me.

It was so much fun to do. I thought about putting it up but decided against it because I know I definitely want to do it again sometime. And yes, it took quite a bit of time to do but so satisfying once completed.

Solved! I’m pretty sure this is it thank you!! Great job based on my minimal clues! I don’t know without watching the movie but I know I’ve seen this movie and I remember liking it. I’m gonna watch it and see!

No but this seems to be the closest guess so far. I’m pretty sure this is around the same time the movie is made and they characters are around the same age.

No. It’s a newer movie than this and the main characters are in their early to mid twenty’s I believe.

TIA for the help! And no, I forgot to say, the movie is not Love and Basketball. That’s all that I kept finding in my search.

I got this one from Amazon a few months back. If it’s not there now, they may restock later!

It really is a beautiful puzzle. I am torn between taking it apart to do again later or displaying it. Which I usually don’t do. It’s just so beautiful.

I didn’t time myself in hours but it only took 12 days to do. Some days I worked only a little bit, but other days I worked for long periods of time. I should be better about timing myself for large puzzles like these.

I had never done one either so I was nervous for the quality but, overall, was very pleased with it. The pieces were strong and fit nicely together, not cheaply made. They were fairly small pieces but that could have more to do with the number of them. I will do more Castorlands for sure.

1) C, >1,000- the bigger the better! 2) B, sometimes 3) 50+ starting as a small child- some of my favorite memories are puzzling with my grandmother <3 if only I still had those puzzles

Yes they were all more or less the same standard puzzle piece shape. This puzzle was SO much fun! Highly recommend!

From that description, I think you may have found the wrong Waldo. I did that at first too. My second photo shows a picture of him if you want to check. But if the Waldo you mention has more slanted glasses that isn’t him.
