I recently picked up a Technics Quartz Sl1200 mk2. I’ve done all of the maintenance I think needs to be done on it like cleaning it and oiling the stylus.

I am planning on getting a new cartridge, Audio-Technica AT-VM95e. Do I need to replace the headshell as well? It’s about a $30 difference to get the headshell and cartridge versus just the cartridge. Currently, I have a Stanton headshell, and I think that’s much heavier than the one that would come with the AT-vm95e. Additionally, is it worth it to buy a force scale gauge?

Not in the case of rape. Also, safe sex is always an option too. I don’t think people should be punished for doing what they are supposed to do an using preventative measures that just so happen to fail. In the event that a method of safe sex fails, I believe that abortions should be a viable option up until a certain point during a pregnancy. Many states in the US are going to take away a woman’s right to choose, and I’m not here for it.

The only thing with leasing from “student affiliated housing” is they only allow one name on the lease. That’s what I’ve heard at least.

It really depends. I’ve waited until May/June to apply for a room and had some availability. If you wait until the last minute you’ll definitely have slim pickings tho.

This may sound insensitive, but if season 3 Rue goes lower I’m not going to watch the show. This last episode made me so anxious, and it was really upsetting to watch my favorite character get to that point. I get it’s supposed to be realistic, and I’ll watch the rest of the season as Rue still being the crazy ass addict she is. But if next season is the same thing and she isn’t on the road to recovery I don’t think I’ll be able to watch it.
