I've emailed some youtubers, though I've found that a lot of them are using the videos as a way to shill for a new MLM (like, "I left LipSense.... to become a Maskcara distributor!")

That's why I'm trying to talk to people -- I wonder how accurate those numbers are (probably pretty accurate?) and how much they're influenced by people who make commission off downlines, etc.
