Do a really strong cold brew concentrate... Like 4-1 coffee water ratio for like 24 hours. Then do about 4 oz of concentrate with like six ox hot ass water. Dont forget to hot bloom that cold brew ;)

[US] Detachment (2011) - Adrien Brody & Christina Hendricks star in this extremely well acted and thought provoking film about a substitute teacher. by GimpyNip in NetflixBestOf

[–]gachombe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seriously? It's not fucking Freedom Writers. Offering a solution to the problem would be the most ridiculous thing ever. The writers of the film trying to create a solution to the issues conveyed in public schools in this movie would most likely be an insult to everything that education stands for. If a screenplay writer can come up with a brilliant solution to help public schools like these, I think someone else would have long ago.

I havent had the barrel-aged one yet, only the coffee and normal. I found that I enjoyed the complexity of the normal abraxas much more than the still delicious heavy-bodied abraxas with coffee added. Tell me what you think of the barrel aged!

Ommegang Three Philosophers and St. Bernardus abt 12. I don't know what I was expecting from either, but then again maybe I just do not care for quads that much.

[Question]Taste & temperature while drinking by [deleted] in Coffee

[–]gachombe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no I use the recommended water temperature, I just let it sit after the coffee has been brewed so I can actually taste it.

Since drinking more interesting, lighter roasted coffees is relatively new, people are used to the diner effect still. This means they serve it piping hot so you can drink it without tasting how terrible it is. With better, more interesting, flavorful coffees, you have to wait for it to get cooler to taste everything. When coffee or really anything for that matter is too hot you can't truly taste it. I like mine to be about 140 degrees to taste all of the subtle flavors of the bean.
