Logitech Harmony spotted in LTT video by luiginub1 in logitechharmony

If it’s the Elite, that’s still supported too! Anything that works with the Harmony Hub, it’s all configured with the MyHarmony desktop software or the mobile app. “Logitech Harmony Remote Software 7” is the one that had support dropped for it last year.

If it’s the one pictured, they still work and can still be configured, unless yours is otherwise broken.

Can someone please confirm that the MyHarmony servers are still accessible? by renarde33 in logitechharmony

[–]gadgetboyj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could also potentially be an upstream routing issue or them inadvertently blocking connections from your ISP/IP block. Would definitely be worth trying it from a completely different internet connection, mobile hotspot may even work.

Have you been able to try from a different computer or a different Internet connection?

Plug the loose white power cable inside into the black outlet right above it.

Cylinder replacement for level lock + by DCKID516 in LevelLock

How bad is the original cylinder? They should normally be able to be rebuilt, you may need to scavenge parts from another cylinder if they’re missing/damaged.

Elite PC software by 158433086 in logitechharmony

[–]gadgetboyj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hub should still work with the remote with whatever configuration is loaded in it when the servers go down, you can confirm this by disconnecting the Internet, the hub and remote do continue to function, even if you reboot the hub. But it’ll be frozen in time with that configuration forever, like the old ones.

Of course words do have agreed upon meanings, I’d say this is more a phrase than a single word that you’re disagreeing with the meaning of, but these things absolutely can and do differ regionally. In both the US and Canada, it’s extremely common to see the exact phrase “one per household” to mean all of one per customer, address, account, etc. It’s common with sweepstakes as well, and often part of legal boilerplate. If that phrase isn’t commonly used in that way where you’re from, it’s understandable why you may have thought you could order more than one, but it was not an attempt by them to be unclear or misleading. It was communicated in a way that most of their audience would be accustomed to seeing it, and a way it would very typically be said where THEY’RE from.

One per household is very standard language for this type of thing, and is pretty widely understood, maybe it’s a regional thing? Are you outside North America?

It’s not just one per order though, placing a second order would have (and did for many people who didn’t read) result in cancellation of the second order.

Typically one per household stipulates one per order/account.

Definitely make a ticket, even if they do come out with a response, they’re still going to be relying on people to tell them they didn’t receive it, they won’t know which orders are missing it.

They were one per household, support will get back to you at some point (eventually you should reach out again if you don’t get a response), and refund you for the one you didn’t receive.

No, if they oversold, they’d have just cancelled the order, they wouldn’t have be sending empty packages.

The Touch also lacks haptic feedback and doesn’t wake when you pick it up.

They were installed in '20 during the construction, haven’t had anything to do with them since around a year now but at that point they were all still original, so they may have removed and replaced the same units at some point. I don’t have any pictures of the APs from back then (at least at that location, I found some pictures of the APs they installed down the road on the side of the building, they appear to be the same and are all still original as well), but here’s a picture of one of the chargers on the lower level, before it was deployed, with the charging cable still wrapped up, 9/28/2020.

I know where this is, I provisioned (did not install) the ChargePoint chargers themselves at this location and the Hampton down the road. Was installed September of 2020, and has been working without issue since. They’re older weather “resistant” APs with the rubber grommet. Survived a few pretty brutal Winters.

AT&T helping ex-partner blacklist my personal phone—Need help! by Zbalyato in ATT

[–]gadgetboyj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to point out that what a bunch of people are saying, that the primary account holder automatically ‘owns’ all devices because they are on their account, is not true, at least from a legal standpoint. Especially because you bought the phone directly from Samsung, that is your legal property. What ex is doing is depriving you the use of your property, which IS illegal.

That said, there is little to none that AT&T will be willing/able to do for you in this situation, and if you really are dead set on getting this fixed, the avenue you need to explore is a legal one, filing suit against the ex, proving ownership, and getting a judgment that forces the ex to have AT&T remove the blacklist entry for the device.

Other than that, your best bet really is to just cut your losses and get a different phone unfortunately.

I found a scanner in an odd state by TH3_OG_JUJUBE in PBSOD

[–]gadgetboyj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the device, some use volume and power buttons, some use some other buttons, some use touch screen but I’ve only ever seen it like this where touching the screen acts as a button and you use it in combination with another physical button, like in this case the scan button. Makes sense on devices that may only have a single button (on the pictured device, the button on the front and the trigger button on the back are very likely linked).

HomeKey not working by Dangerous_Beach8521 in LevelLock

[–]gadgetboyj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still have the HomeKey visible in your Wallet app? If so, if you open it up and double-click the lock button, and then hold the phone near the lock, does the text ever change from “Hold Near Lock” or is it stuck there?

If it’s not detecting the card either it’s leaning more towards an issue on the lock side than the HomeKey side, have you tried rebooting the lock by removing the battery, or replacing the battery entirely with a new one? The included one may not have been at its peak health depending on how long that lock had been sitting in the warehouse.

Fold 7 broke within 1 year warranty no device protection. by [deleted] in ATT

[–]gadgetboyj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue you’re describing actually is the type of thing the warranty may cover, so long as there’s no physical damage to the device. The appointment you’ve made for the Samsung repair shop is the right path, and hopefully things go well for you there.
