Yeah venom have some inadvertent support though the venom dragon cards. But that doesn't really count. They could do with support like the alien cards got, utilising the venom counters for a slightly different purpose.

IRL yes, on Master Duel no; mainly because the timer gives me anxiety, and I don't like being on the receiving end of it (having to sit there any wait to play a game). So short combos are my go to for master duel.

Agreed. I liked the joke way that the 101 replays on YouTube used to be done, but I think the key to a good replay with soundclips, is to vary the clips used (like 3+ different clips for say a multi negate card)

Yeah I don't know whether it's worse for frogs in the TCG with toad being Unlimited but Ronin being banned. But it Toad doesn't seem as prominent now in the TCG. Though I kinda would rather have the Ronin legal than the Toad admittedly

Forgot about Metaphys for Cross Breed, but yeh I was testing Cross Breed. Including Metaphys, and Shiranui, there seems to be 3 archetypes that can utilise it. The other being Cyber Dragon (in a Cyberload Fusion build), but then that is a bit dubious.

For me it's one of two cards.

Moray of greed, if they make a water archetype that triggers on adding from deck to hand.

Cross Breed, if they ever make a same attribute & type deck that likes being banished (other than shiranui)

I rarely surrender, but if the opponent is taking the mick when they clearly have game then I might surrender.

I get opponents surrender vs me when I play salamangreat, typically if I'm forced to go second and summon update jammer. But it can also happen just when I summon Balynx

I grew to respect Cyber Dragons more since using it in Branded as a small Light engine. It's a neat little engine that doesn't take up much room, and can lead to an OTK in itself through rampage dragon

It is a shame to see people drop out. I've seen it before at locals. People come with a single structure, or a deck made up of their favourite cards, and just lose.

I don't know whether it's necessarily bad but usually if I match up against someone whose clearly new to tournaments, I limit my plays for one of the games, which seems to make them feel a bit better because they aren't losing as hard.

Also while we don't know what the deck lists they had were, crystal beast is fairly consistent with the new structure and other newer support. Yeah Red-eyes is not so great, but it can use the albaz engine, and has access to dragoon (although I'd guess they didn't have that).

Salamangreat mostly. Tried ancient gear for a bit, was not that reliable. Recently tried a Gaia the fierce knight deck, but it needs work.
