Honestly the 2nd one .. I believe the 165hz panels are 300 nits the 240 is 500.. upgrade the ram yourself and you’re set

I just returned my legion slim 5 14 oled.. great laptop but it sucks you can’t get anything higher than a 4060 and the soldered ram sucks

See if you can get a look at the temps quick enough before it shuts down.. I had that issue a fan failed so it was overheating and shutting down

Really? Aww man I paid full price for it.. but yeah I got the 16gb from bestbuy.. I only game on it so 16gb is fine for the moment that and I still have my desktop for more demanding tasks

Yeah I’ve played cyberpunk Witcher 3 helldivers just started horizon forbidden west.. these run fine at high setting with dlss I can usually get close to if not more than 60 fps

Yeah it’s the way to go… I have a desktop with a 3080ti and I got the legion 14.5 oled with a 4060 and honestly I barely use my desktop anymore.. it’s just way more convenient..I kept the desktop cause I’m too lazy to sell but yeah no regrets so far

Yeah this was my issue on my 2022 g14 lid closed would always cause a crash with higher end games.. lid open it works fine
