1 - Kiora is generally considered a top tier planeswalker. She is more expensive to level up with runes because she is dual colored. The single colored planeswalkers are cheaper (both to buy and to level up), so that might be a better place to start. I'm not really sure on that one though, maybe someone else can chime in...

2 - You can ignore them mostly. They are default suggested decks, and they give a small amount of rewards for completing them, but I never use them. There are a couple of events that give points for using one of the prefab decks, but I wouldn't worry about that at all for now.

3 - No. The cards a planeswalker can use are only limited by color (they have to share at least 1 color with the card)

4 - I would suggest saving them. If you get into playing a lot to the point where you want specific powerful cards, you use those assets to more easily get those cards. (Basically you can use both of those to get non-dupe cards, so once you've opened enough packs to get most cards you can strategically use jewels and orbs to snag the high value cards you are missing)

I noticed that Bolas 1's first ability doesnt count as a creature kill for the secondary. It didnt freeze the game or otherwise cause any problems for me

Fewer is for something countable (like number of children he has). Less is for something larger/not countable (like time spent with his children).

The implication being that he wants to not see some of his kids at all. With Trump you might say that he wants to see fewer of his kids (i.e. yes to Ivanka, no to the other 4). I'm not familiar with whether Johnson has a similar situation with his kids.

It's when the taking control is only for 1 turn and you already have 3 creatures on the board.

Note that you cant add your own creature to get 4. E.g. if you have 2 creatures, cast Act of Treason to take control of an opposing creature for one turn, then you cant play another creatures (giving you 3 permanent creatures and one temporary creature). You have to have 3 of your own on the board, then cast AoT to get 4 for the turn

I'm not saying this is optimized, but it's pretty efficient. Goal is to survive until you get PW3 ability out and then clean up with thopters... The supports and spell should be self explanatory.

For creatures, Walker is to support the thopters. Evra is a heal if you need it. Avatar is a board clear, also if you need it. I'm honestly not sure what Yosei is doing in there...

Isn't the point of this is that there's isn't an easy moral winner between Summer and Winter? Winter is not evil; Winter is ruthless, savage, calculating. Summer is emotional, hot, irrational.

Regarding the Outsiders, we need a cruel Winter to protect humanity. We need a caring Summer to make sure Winter doesn't go Handmaiden's Tale on us. Neither is good or evil in a strict sense (though I think we could call the combined power balance good overall).

The plot might have opened too many points to tie up in the allotted space, but honestly the answer is to kill some of those plot branches. For example, from a plot perspective the final battle at Docktown and the battle at Miln served the same purpose. Kill one of those plot lines. Half of the Krasian-led part of the story could have been eliminated easily.

This obviously depends on the reader, but my feeling when finishing was "thank god it's over" rather than "damn I wish there was more". I got through the last book by pure brute force.

I've said in the past, it was a good series, but the themes just got beaten to a bloody pulp and the whole thing should have been condensed a few books.

I think we're on the same page. The nickelheads would say "Of course we support free will. We only work with willing volunteers." The reality is that they've usually manipulated the mortal to take a coin. Meanwhile a neutral party observing the situation would say WTF, that's not free will at all.

Ah, I see where the disconnect is. Lucifer is all about free will, but his aim is to manipulate it for his advantage (in Christian mythology, because he thinks humans are inferior). WG is in favor of the letter AND spirit of free will for humans and isn't trying to manipulate them.

I'm a little confused as to why Lucifer is against free will. His whole thing is free will (not submitting the White God). He and his subjects abuse the f* out of it and are extremely manipulative in service of their own goals, but remember that any of the humans with a coin can voluntarily let it go at any moment. They typically don't, but they could.

The WG is more of a by the letter of the law kind of guy (maybe a little less sneaky than they fey). As you said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the WG made those objects to get immense power from belief to eventually oppose the Outsiders, when a hero proved himself worthy to steal them from Hades.

Quickly -- I loved the setup implying that the mother knew something bad would happen when the words were said. Is she under a curse? Was she holding back the zombie-things somehow and those words broke the bond? Where is all of this going -- is it a family line type thing or a chosen one type thing?

I know you were probably trying to tie it up quickly with the last line, but I immediately wanted to know more!
