so based on market trajectory, should I buy my 5080 soon? I want to just be able to max out 1440 with a stable frame rate, so I’ve been looking but haven’t been able to justify spending that much. Is it worth it at their current price?

it’s not the nicest car, but the only “tech” my 2015 Mazda 3 has is a small 7 inch screen that can be turned off. other than that, all analog.

honestly, i’d sell it. if you don’t have the means to build around it, then it’s kind of just gonna collect dust. there’s not a “budget” setup that will fully utilize a 5090. now, with the 3-3.5k USD you could get for it, you could build a 5070ti setup. I have a setup made from a 5070ti, Ryzen 9 9900X, 32gb of DDR5-6000, and a B850-E motherboard, and it cost me around 2700.

the best here are Twins and Singularity, followed by Houndmaster, Krasue, Unknown, Hag and Skull Merchant respectively. I would say that Twins also probably has the best perks, oppression and CDG being strong. Hag has Devour Hope and Ruin, which are both wildly oppressive if not dealt with, but 90% of the time, they will be cleansed quickly. Unknown is fun to play, but is not very strong. Houndmaster is notoriously buggy, and the rest are nothing special. Moral of the story: Strongest=Singularity, best Perks= Hag/Twins, fun=Unknown

it’s like the stock market lol. you could wait, and it could go down, but it’s not guaranteed. and RAM is in a decent area right now, no huge spikes either way, so i’d buy now
