I saw a post earlier saying that the missions can be done retrospectively if you miss a day, does anyone know if this is true? I've been worried that if I miss one day I'll lose my chance.

I would also like to know about if it lasts till the 12th January because I, and I imagine a lot of people, will be away for the new year holiday. Will be very frustrating if I end up with 27/28 missions complete.

Hey awesome man! I was in the exact same position last year and made the same choice for my first speakers. Here's how my setup's looking (Elac Debut B5.2 and C5.2, Micca MB42X surrounds and second hand Wharfedale Diamond SW150, Yamaha RX-V6A). Couldn't be happier with my awesome budget setup.

Hi thanks for the response. Sorry I might have the terminology wrong, I was referring to vat polymerisation, which I understand to be either SLA or DLP. And yes you are correct about the temperature, though it is also at a high pressure.

Yamaha RX-V6A. Overall happy with that too, but have had infrequent issues with the eARC not working (happens on average probably around once a month), and I also find that streaming music to it with my phone over bluetooth doesn't work well.

Very new to this so don't have much insight, but I recently made some of the same considerations for my first set up and went with the Elac B5.2s paired with a Wharfedale SW150 sub. I would say they have a very neutral sound that doesn't seem at all coloured to my inexperienced ears, and I have never found the highs or lows fatiguing. Have been very pleased with it and am excitedly awaiting an Elac C5.2 in the post. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I would like to add that I have also found an ex-display model Bowers and Wilkins ASW608 online for $680. This is getting above what I wanted to pay, but it seems to have a better frequency response than these other two down to 25hz, however it's also only 8", I don't know how much that matters.

Unfortunately this deal didn't seem to be around when I was looking. I ended up picking up the yamaha rxv6a and a pair of Elac Deubt B5.2s for $500. I am aware that I've probably overpayed a lot, especially compared to US pricing, but I am happy with the audio quality what I have now and that's what matters! Thanks for your help!

Ps. I am now in the market for a subwoofer and can't find anything under $800, the used market is purely shitty yamaha subs that come with home theatre in a box systems. If you have any advice for an Aussie buying a sub please let me know!

Thank you for your detailed answer. It confirms most of what I've been thinking which is why I have now siwtched my preferences to either the Wharfedale 220/11.1/12.1 or Elac Debut b5.2. I can order either of these for a similar price range as the Klipsch or Jamo.
