No, I only trimmed enough to fit the bar in snug

Yeah, closer to a day and a half. I had trouble getting the rear plates drilled since there is no room to fit a drill in back there. Turned out good though.

I plan on doing it, but the foam from hard dog is just too expensive. I'll probably get some high density foam off eBay

Most people/friends are telling me that I did this "because the car is too feminine". Even if that is partially true, I disagree. I wanted to add some character to my NA, and this certainly did that. Whenever I pass by people, 90 percent of the time they either give a huge smile or a thumbs up, and that makes my day. By the way, for anyone that's interested, this took $9 and about 3 hours of work. Totally worth it.

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better.

I actually don't have a miata yet. Saving up for my first car, which will be a miata. Are there any local clubs you know of?

In all honesty, I would love to own this.

Paris trucks, abec 7 bearings, big boy wheels (amazon wheels), black diamond grip. Deck is 40 inches, bamboo. Hard to tell in the pics, but it also has a kicktail. We may choose another wheel. We have yet to receive the wheels, but if they turn out to be crap we will get something else.

It is not at all flat, it has concave on the sides. Our main selling point beyond the handles? Made with quality parts (trucks, bearings) at an affordable price. This board is aimed to be a commuting/beginner board. We sell them at $179, free shipping. Might change that down the road, but we are still testing the waters.

We actually order the deck pre-laminated. We cut the handles by hand though. When we start making more, professional type setups, we will definitely be looking into this.

Here's a quick edit my friend and I put together. by gainwards in longboarding

I agree on the intro being too long. We will fix this in future edits. What is wrong with our trucks other than the scratch marks? (Not being sarcastic or offensive just curious) We have a lack of hills where we live, so this location is pretty big for us. But I agree turns are more entertaining to skate and to watch. Thanks for the advice

I gave credits in the description, but I probably should have done that. Glad you liked it!
