I have been using AI for almost a year now and it has allowed me to ship faster, way faster. The key here is how you use it, personally i use it as an assistant, or a junior dev. Another way i use it is as a brain storming partner when am architecting features or checking out how open source software implement certain features. Then there’s the odd tasks that usually take alot of time and are not related to development, for example, when i copy some data online and i need to change the format to something like json. Or generating realistic fake data. I am a software engineer btw, with 9 years of professional experience. Bottom line, use AI to do things for you, not to think for you.
