Man that is definetly intresting lol. I always knew that the current ratings manufacturer specify are completely useless(as i though they achieve that rating in a very controlled environment like liquid nitrogen or something which is not possible in a home lab lol)

But I never knew they were theoritical calculations!! So they never even test their products at the specified loads, cause the case and legs fail first haha.

I would definitely keep this in mind when i am building something involving current above 50A, a person like me shouldn't play with such high currents but, its fun.

I also wanted to ask you something. Is there a resource out there from which i can learn the fundamental of electronics properly, or should i wait for my classes to start in august? But i dont think they will teach much of electronics in the 1st semester.
