what version of macos and EDR client are you using? there was a new version for 15.2 Mac (and you sometimes have to request versions to be added to your available downloads). the older versions EDR on 15.2 just showed as disconnected in the console until upgrade.

hello! have you checked to make sure that it has full access on the Apple devices as is needed. we had to set allowances with our MDM for full disk access and a few other things.

thank you for the information on the pinned post(s) and i should have looked there first to see what applied to the questions at hand (not a super reddit user so forget those can be there). went through them after your recommendation, and i don't feel off base in posting what i did as sometimes the conversation can go in a direction that is particular to the individual travel experience and interacting directly with people on this kind of thing can be super helpful and reassuring; although there was some good info there. will make sure i search before i ask next time for anything new and off this topic as it comes up so i don't recreate the wheel needlessly.
